Last week I watched with joy as my new students at Lincoln Elementary School in Oakland Chinatown danced and sang "Juego al Contar," a traditional circle game from Spain.  I will be at Lincoln Elementary for special three-week sessions in the second grades through February and then at Cleveland Elementary through March with Cantare con Vivo, an outreach program bringing music to children in the Oakland schools.
